Second Harvest Heartland and SPAFS visit local retail rescue!

Second Harvest Heartland Retail Rescue Program and St. Peter Area Food Shelf were delighted to visit HyVee and the two Kwik Trips in St. Peter to express appreciation for their partnership in diverting safe, edible food to hungry households.  Over the past year, these three sites EACH diverted enough food to provide over 4500 meals! St. Peter Area Food Shelf manager Cindy Favre is pictured with employees from Hy-Vee.
