St. Peter Cub Scouts Pack #58 and St. Peter Boy Scouts Troup #58 stopped by this morning to drop off 1,049 pounds of food and 2 autographed drawings! Thank you for your hard work! The boys learned how to navigate the scale ramp in no time. Kinda like an airplane gotta keep the wheels on the runway. And I got to learn a little about a few of them. One aspires to be an NFL player but is really good at math and will settle for being a teacher if his aspirations fall short. Another is really good at drawing robots and likes candy.
On a personal note this town, this community, never ceases to amaze me. A large group of young boys behaved so well mannered and helpful. Parents present and are completely involved in students projects and endeavors. A town that gives over 1,000 pounds of food when times are tough for everyone. Not to mention our gusties who care deeply about learning and helping its community. Volunteers that make it possible for our food shelf to operate. Donors who make it possible for us to afford what is needed. I am honored to be a part of something so special. Thank you St. Peter. For proving time and again that we are a community that cares deeply about others!
